Mono - Little Nightmares II
Inspired by the popular platform game Little Nightmares II.
The game follows Mono, a young boy who finds himself trapped in a distorted world. This world is warped by a mysterious transmission from a distant Signal Tower. The transmission has a profound effect on people, literally warping their minds and appearances. Citizens become mindless, static-faced viewers, forever staring at their screens.
To protect himself, Mono wears a box over his head. This box not only hides his face but also helps him feel safe and unseen in a world filled with monstrous, watchful figures.
As Mono journeys through this eerie world, he encounters Six, another character who joins him on his quest. Together, they navigate through various unsettling environments, including a decaying city, a terrifying school, and a grim hospital. Along the way, they must evade grotesque and monstrous inhabitants who lurk in the shadows.
The central theme of the game revolves around the loss of innocence in a world corrupted by fear and control. It explores how media, authority, and societal decay distort reality and consume individuality.
