The film Ford v Ferrari tells the true story of the rivalry between the Ford Motor Company and Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966.
Ken Miles, a brilliant British driver and engineer, was driving the #1 car and was positioned to win the race. However, Ford Motor Company executive Leo Beebe, wanting a publicity photo of three Ford cars crossing the finish line together, instructed Miles to slow down.
This is my recreation of the scene from the film where Miles slows on the final lap down the Mulsanne Straight so the #2 and #3 Ford cars could catch up and cruise across the finish line together.
